How do we clean leather?
We follow a five stage process to clean leather.
- Using a soft cloth, we clean leather superficially in order to get rid of loose dust particles.
- We use Leather Vital for revitalizing and softening old and stiff leathers. It penetrates deep to soften and nourish the leather. Use it before dyeing to improve dye acceptance and on areas to be repaired to make the leather more malleable. It also helps stop the squeaky, leather-on-leather noise.
- In the third stage, we use suitable cloth to ensure that no hint of the solution is residual on the surface.
- The next stage consists of moisturising and conditioning. Our high quality products ensure deep treatment
- The last stage is to wipe leather with a clean cloth in order to get rid of excess moisturiser and conditioner. We buff the leather to reinstate its shine
As an extra option we can add a water-based protector for all leather except Nubuck. It provides excellent protection against oil-water-alcohol based stains as well as everyday soiling. Protection Cream prevents stains from absorbing into the leather and becoming difficult to remove. Protection Cream should be reapplied every six months on heavily used leather furniture after cleaning. Once we are done with our work, your leather furniture looks as good as new.
